HCR : defense of Jean-Michel Chauveau (12/2018)

Jean-Michel Chauveau defended his habilitation to conduct researches (HCR) by presenting his work on "Nonpolar (Zn,Mg)O/ZnO heterostructures : basic properties and novel opportunities from UV to THz".
The defense took place in the amphitheater of CRHEA on 11/12/2018 at 10AM.

Post-doc : Rémi Comyn leaves CRHEA (09/2018)

After the PhD defence in december 2016 (see defended PhDs) and a post-doc in CRHEA, Rémi Comyn leaves the laboratory to join the Knowmade scientific information company based at Sophia Antipolis.

Trainee : arrival of a student from CESI in Valbonne (09/2018)

Eric Boiteau joins the Opto team under the responsability of Fabrice Semond until september 30, 2018. He participates in the creation of links future professionals with CESI and works on understanding scientific issues and activities.

Award : best student poster at ICPS for a Ganex student (08/2018)

Farsane Tabataba-Vakili won a prize for the best student poster at the 34th International Conference on Semiconductor Physics (ICPS 2018) which took place in Montpellier from July 29 to August 3, 2018. Farsane is a student funded by the laboratory of excellence Ganex and co-supervised by Philippe Boucaud (CNRS-CRHEA) an Bruno Gayral (CEA-Inac). She undertakes her PhD work at Center of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in Paris Saclay.
The title of her poster was: « Blue microlasers integrated on a photonic platform on silicon ».
